The AtlanTick Tick Scoop is a simple and effective tool for removing and capturing ticks.  Suitable for people and pets, the Tick Scoop Keychain comes with a tick ID card and carabiner for easy attachment to your backpack, belt loop, keychain, etc. 

To use the Tick Scoop Keychain just slide the scoop between the tick and your skin, as close to you skin as possible, and with even pressure keep sliding until the tick releases. This safe, reusable tool allows for tick removal and capture without touching the tick.

• Choose between our warm, earth-toned or cool, water-toned Ticklet, in child (beaded length circumference 15cm) or adult sizing (beaded circumference length 19cm). Each Ticklet is adjustable so you can make it larger for a perfect fit.
• Lava stone is a particularly porous volcanic rock, whose cavities are formed by gasses squeezed through magma as it extrudes from the earth. Due to its' porous state, lava stone is great at holding liquid, and in the case of our Ticklet line, is well suited to absorb AtlanTick Outdoor Spray. As before, we've carefully selected extremely porous lava beads to allow for maximum spray absorption, and therefore the longest lasting scent retention.

The key to proper tick removal is to get the whole tick, mouth parts included.  

Do not twist!  If you twist an embedded tick, you will most likely succeed in separating its body from its mouthparts, which may remain stuck in your skin and lead to infection. 

Use the AtlanTick TickPick like a crowbar, and with even pressure pry the tick out. Proper tick removal reduces the chance of squeezing the tick, or forcing it to regurgitate pathogens into your body.
