The A is for Adventure book is a rhyming A-Z children’s book for kids of all ages. The book goes through the alphabet, each letter a different activity or lesson, accompanied with incredible illustrations that will ignite the imagination.
The book is also meant to educate, and focuses on hard and soft skills for children to get into the healthy habit of adventure. It is our goal to inspire the next generation to get outside and play, creating a foundation for a happier, healthier life… and a better life for our planet too!
A is for Adventure is written by Jan Sebastian LaPierre, who drew inspiration from his own love for the outdoors, and his work as a recreation therapist at a children’s hospital in mental health and addictions (the IWK in Halifax). The illustration are all originals done by the incredible award-winning artist, Christopher Hoyt. Christopher uses pen, ink and water colour to bring each letter to life and captivate any reader, young or old.
The book is printed and bound in Canada, with our partners Taylor Printing Group in Frederiction, New Brunswick in a 100% renewable energy facility, using vegetable-based ink and printed on FSC certified paper. It is published by A for Adventure Inc.
