Our selection includes everything from sleeping bags and tents to Yeti coolers, snowshoes, and cross-country skis, among many other options. With our rental program, you can rest assured that you are getting high-quality gear that will enhance your outdoor experience.
Plus, within 7 days of your rental, you can put your rental fee towards the purchase of the item type you rented.
Here's what you need to know:
- We offer rental costs for 24 hours, 3 days, or a week.
- A credit card and driver's license are required to rent from us.
This is a contract of renting only and not of sale. The undersigned renter agrees that s/he has rented the item(s) herein described upon the express condition that it will at all times remain the property of the rental agent (The Trail Shop); that s/he has examined the item(s), found it to be in good condition and will return it in as good condition as when s/he received it, ordinary wear and tear excepted; that s/he will return at once to the rental agent any item not functioning normally; that s/he will pay promptly when due all charges which accrue because of this rental, including damages to or loss of the item(s). In the event the renter returns the item(s) past the agreed upon time, the renter will be charged for each additional day at the “first day” rate. In the event the renter fails to return the item(s), the renter is responsible for replacing the item(s) at a cost to be determined by the rental agent. In the event the renter returns the item(s) damaged beyond ordinary wear and tear, the renter may be charged for repair or replacement of the item(s) at a cost to be determined by the rental agent. All charges are based on the time the item is in renter’s possession, whether in use or not. The rental agent is not responsible for accidents or injuries caused directly or indirectly in the use of the rented item.
